... you're right, my bad. I overlooked the modular chrono part of your question.

Another interesting candidate is the JLC Duometer in its various guises. Again I'm not sure here, especially since we all know the Duometer started its production life as a chronograph. But the new Duometer leads me to believe that we're basically looking at a non-chrono movement here, where the Duometre a Chronographe added a chrono module and the Duometre a la Quantieme Lunaire adds a lunar calendar module in its stead.

Not sure if this satisfies your precondition but I find it an extremely interesting (if not to say very attractive-looking) development. If this is a modular build it sure beats the old (and as far as I'm concerned, as of now obsolete) method of simply stacking tin can mechanisms on top of each other.
