... and I wonder what you base it on. The way I value others' opinions is based on their perceived authority in the matter. Since I acknowledge you as an authority on haute horology, I'd say I value your opinions higher than mine.
Mind you, valuing your opinions highly is not the same as agreeing with every single one of them. Maybe that's the source of your confusion?
So having established that I do value your opinions (and I mean this sincerely), I'm really interested in your candidates for 'far greater ripoff in haute horology'. They might even demote the AP ROO in my own opinion

PS I might want to provide one correction on what I wrote earlier. In my initial post I actually meant to say 'in haute horology' instead of 'in all horology'. It was never my intention to compare AP's products with anything else than their peers.
