A gun isn't always an option or even a good choice

Hi all,
I live in London in the UK where gun crime is still relatively low but unfortunately getting worse but even when we were allowed gun ownership it was near impossible to get a carry permit for anywhere besides your home and to your gun club or a venue for competition plus in the home the gun had to be unloaded and in a safe. But there are lots of watch stealing gangs active and they target those that display wealth and a Rolex or other high value easily recognisable watch and they can be extremely violent and prepared to enter your home to. Here in the UK knife crime is the biggest problem and also really bad, prior to my serious back issues and operations I always had dogs in my case Dobermanns and they were all trained by me with trainers for protection work that is about as good as protection can get over here. The problem is there are lots of dodgy protection dog trainer's and companies around and the prices of dogs has gone IMHO totally crazy with prices in the 10's of thousands of £'s for mostly average or bluff dogs. It's a sad state of affairs around the world where you can't wear nice things safely.
