Horological Meandering

A notable example: The PP Nautilus.

I always thought " not for me ", till I saw one in the flesh, some 5 years ago, a 3712.

On pictures, I thought it was a too old watch, too funky, too weird.

In real, this is a totally different story, and the dial does it all in the perception you can have on the watch.

What looked weird is just a strong appeal, subtility.

Amazing.

I guess many other watches can be mentionned.

Watches from the 70ies, for example, with a strong and funky personnality, not very photogenic, but once on the wrist, the feeling changes.

A lesson to be learnt...

Best,

Nicolas.
