I'd have to say anything with Roman Numerals
was not fond of IWC's Portofino Moonphase--but came to realize that elongated numerals worked beautifully on a dial. At a glance, they seem like indices; and on the Portofino Moonphase in particular, they impart a medieval sense of wonder that enhances the overall feel of the moonphase complication.
