Horological Meandering

Any of you ever have an experience for a watch that you despise, hate or strong "No way, man". Only later maybe few months to few fears have turn around 180 degree and fall for it. I would say you need at least a few months to qualify the negativity towar...

before i joined this forum i had no time whatsoever for Rolex and always associated them with flashy geezers, but i've learnt a huge amount about the quality and the history and no realise that the minority of owners are flashy gits and the majority are p... 

Flashy geezers... That's exactly the problems I have with the crown. Doesn't help when you grow up with the popular belive that a all gold rolex is the thing a man should have. Yuck! My dad have a 2 tone datejust with gold diamond dial that will eventuall...

That is the other way around! I fell in love with the look of Panerai (Luminor Marina) and finally jumped on it back in 2003… I still love the look of Panerai… But I can’t stand the feeling on the wrist! Strange – I do hope I will change my mind one day… ...
