Horological Meandering

at the end of the day, history can tell...

TM, your post reminds me that one recent instance - i conducted a teaching for a 3rd year class of uni students, as usual, at the end of the teaching course, students will fill in the feedback/comments form. of course i read the students' feedback to see anything that i could improve further for next term of teaching, to my surprise was that one student's feedback which he said "the lecture (i.e. me) did not indicate which part of teaching materials are examinable and which part are not examinable.". however, i was not angry with this particular feedback, just thought "history can tell whether i am a good (may not be great) teacher after all!".

likewise, at the end of the day, history can tell which watches are fine or great!
