crisis...and how it should impact period design.
Hi, Nicolas,
I have to wonder - it is fine and easy to make statements like "flight to quality in times of crisis" and "return to sober, even somber, designs for the crisis filled times..." (hell, even I have resorted to these platitudes, in large part because they are true!)
But who will lead us? Who will provide the joy and light in dark times?
I don't need my hobbies and toys to remind me of the tough, serious times, I need them to provide a respite, an escape...who will provide me these?
