Good and Bad: Here's my BR03-94 PVD and opinions...
The Good News: Love the design of the watch. The PVD has held up to snorkeling and every day use.
The BR03 is 42mm and on my small wrist actually feels great on the rubber strap (2nd hole). The velcro is way too long for small wrist.
Here is a post snorkeling in Ko 'Olina, island of Oahu, Hawaii.
Pouring rain in the North Shore.
The Bad News: There have been some QC problems. I bought it brand new from my AD in Gendale, California back in June 2007. The first had to be replaced as the chrono would get stuck and not work, I had it less than 24 hours. Then the replacement had lint on the inside of the glass. The third time around the watch ran 3-5 minutes fast every 3 weeks. It went back in November under warranty and is now running very accurately.
The design of the watch to me is fantastic and my AD was great handling the warranty as always. But it is always a pain in the ass to keep going to the dealer and waiting for 3 months for a fix. If you check the B&R website they have a forum and a couple of people posted some of the same problems as mine. Other companies like Breitling/Panerai/Omega sends the watch back in a protective case. I got mine back in a plastic zip lock. It wasn't cleaned at all. Things like this really bother me. If they want to stand out against their competitors, they need to step up their game. Hope this helps with your decision and please post on what you decide to do. PM me if you have other questions. Regards, MW
