You have the Vintage Polaris ? Or both together with the Tribute to Polaris?
I only have the Tribute to Polaris and I get what you mean by "school bell" sound!!
Now I wish I can hear the "clonk clonk" version! Sigh..
Do you by any chance have the picture of 1965 Polaris? As I only know that the 1968 is the
more popular one. But I want to see how the 1965 looks like.
The tribute I have is the one still with the unique colour (pale orange?) of the hour markers.
Have you ever written an article of Polaris and its history? If yes, you can refer me to where I
could read it (the date you wrote it) so you don't have to write lengthily to me about it 
You also mentioned about the strap. What is it with the strap ? I'm curious...
I wish to learn more about Polaris. I like alarm.
What do you think of the Master Compressor Navy Seals Alarm? I find it quite nice, too in a modern way
Unlike Polaris. The sound is rather different though.

That the Cali is the only one to not be a Compressor Case... But this is a nice re edition of the Vintage, don't you think? As the Polaris, and the Longines are. Best, Nicolas

A smaller Diving Wathc, the Master Mariner Deep Sea ( 37 mm ), and 2 years later, the Polaris II ( 43 mm ). So, I don' t know if they were obliged to release such big watches. Best, Nicolas
