Yeah....
I guess we'll never actually know which way it went...i've always felt the Polaris looks to be gagging to have an external chronograph bezel dropped on it (along with a movement installed)....especially given it was the manual chrono period and maybe the polaris was a secondary use for the case style. Maybe not.
