I'm wearing my titanium Oktopus as I write this...
Both the Tattoo and Moonphase are grails of mine, though sadly, they're both out of my price range at the moment (watch fund is currently hovering at $0.00 thanks to the recent arrival of an AP ROO Diver). The Oktopus is a logical evolution of the Biformeter case, and in spite of its increased dimensions, it remains extremely comfortable on the wrist. In fact, my titanium version is the most comfortable watch I own; sometimes I even forget I'm wearing it.
I love this watch!
Anyway, thank you, Kong, for taking the time to post all of the above for us. LW is a fascinating brand, IMO, and I am eagerly awaiting their follow up to the Oktopus line. Hopefully by then the watch fund will be up to snuff. ;-)

The Deepsea Creatures of Linde Werdelin
The Linde Werdelin Oktopus Tattoo took 2 years from conceptualisation to production. It is not due to the shape of the case. It is the 'tattoo' imprint production technique on steel which has to be mastered for repeatability for at least eight-two pieces....

I love the engraving on the case...
