Horological Meandering

The Linde Werdelin Oktopus Tattoo took 2 years from conceptualisation to production. It is not due to the shape of the case. It is the 'tattoo' imprint production technique on steel which has to be mastered for repeatability for at least eight-two pieces....  

an unconventional path to take--but I really like the results. It reminds me of scrimshaw...... J

...and the use of lume to evoke an octopus' tentacle. Very clever, and playful. I'm glad to see that Linde Werdelin shares my belief that tattoos are a legitimate art form. Cheers, Daos
