Ultimately the catalyst was (as it often is) a desire for something else and therefore the prudent decision to fund that something else with items not being used or enjoyed.
It remains to be seen if that something new materializes, however the first step is to have liquidity.

That would be me too, however this was special circumstances as it was bought in the middle of 2020, peak Pandemic.
I wasn’t going anywhere, not to the office, not out to eat. Because of that it sat unworn for probably a year before somewhat normal life crept back. If the timing had of been different the watch would have been worn.
Only a few times. And generally, I buy them back.

My fallback is the high likelihood of buying the watch again, will not too commonly seen they did make a bunch of them !

There are a few more transactions required to get to that desired end point, this was merely the highest hurdle.
I try to only sell if I already know how to spend it.
