I like the three handed model
The design is very attractive. Sure the movement isn't spectacular to look at, but for someone looking for a classicly designed and reliable wristwatch, I think there is great value at this price point. I assume your wrist photo is of the 41 mm version FX, but I'd be interested to see if the porportions remain sound at the smaller 38.5 mm size. Thanks so much for your report. Best,

Two big no go for me.
The Date on most of the dials, and, first of all, THE movements... When you think what Longines was, it is a pity to see what the brand is. I am waiting for THE Longines re birth, with some nice and fine movements.... Like in the past. Sad... Too sad. Bes...

i like them, but...
all of you make an excellent point about the date windows. still, i do like the aesthetics of the faces on a number of these, and, if they're entry level or whatever term you like, that's fine too. but my complaint would be the rotors. they just look poor...

The date window is where for forty years the date window was on Zenith's El Primero, and barely anybody seemed to dislike it. Personally, I even applaud the Longines designers for the good integration of the date windows in the case of these chronographs:...
