I’ve been there several times
First of all, I would stay in Dresden for at least one night as it is a wonderful city to visit. Perhaps an interesting museum would be
Also the Semper Oper with the famous clock.
Etc a lot to do.
From Dresden it is 40 min drive to Glashütte.
Very nice museum I must say.
For the visits to the manufactures you probably will need to talk to your AD to arrange these, at least this os how it worked for me. I don’t think you can do a tour without an invitation (but not 100% sure)
I would say that the combination of Dresden and Glashütte os definitely worth a detour!
Enjoy your stay in Germany.

A brilliant idea to mention some of the amazing collectors on WPS. At the very least Glashutte Original will know Jocke very well. I'm surprised that any brand would be ashamed to turn away non-customers. Waitlists, the importance of brand 'loyalty', and ...
Glashütte is worth a visit.

Recommend a visit of the German Watch Museum in Glashütte. Ask GO directly, if a guided tour is currently available, also give Lange and Moritz Grossmann a try. The people there are always very friendly. And I agree with Dirk, Dresden should be on Your li...
