I was intrigued by this queer duck....it arrived today.
This watch was featured in a post a few weeks ago so I decided to check it out.. Horological meandering: Secret Orbital Time Display
I swapped out the strap and it's a pretty fun watch. Hours on the bottom scale and the weird center hand is the minutes. Using the bottom scale of hours and 30 minutes you can almost use it as a regulator.
The wonky hand sort of reminds me of my UN when I had it repaired locally because of covid and after it came back the hands fell off. So when I wore it the hands were all over the place. The repair guy said hey, it's covid, you don't need to know what time it is anyways. (that last part I made up)

But it's screaming for a jump hour to me. Really awesome concept though. China getting into the market will hopefully have a similar impact as quartz over time.
