Interesting, as I personally feel almost the opposite way:
I kind of like the vintage look of the case and dial of the GP, but I don't respond to the three bridges aesthetic. I understand why it's historically important and why some love it, but this design language doesn't speak to me. I much prefer the aesthetic of the FBN movement.
Just a matter of personal taste, of course.

I understand the appeal, but the Gold bridges don't speak to me.

I absolutely love the three bridges from GP....
But, in this instance, I find the overall design far more subtle and chic with the LF as opposed to the GP........
I like the LF better too,

Where they are not so ostentatiously finished in colored gold etc....? I even find the visual 'clash' between the yellow gold of the case, and the rose gold of the bridges unappealing!....

Visually lighter and more elegant. The GP design feels too heavy, front & back.

Those hands, those indices, that click spring....a masterpiece that captured my heart the first time I saw it.
Slight preference for the LF from the front…
But would have been stronger without the advertising text above the small seconds subdial 😉 And I like the three bridges layout but prefer GPs more modern interpretations of it 😊🤷🏻♂️

But I don't respond to the three gold bridges design and, therefore, I much prefer the LF. But I like the 38 mm size better than the 41 mm ! Best, Emmanuel

The LF has a timeless appeal and feels more modern
if that is not an oxymoron. But you have to admit that GP is the bomb
