Interesting thoughts
Omega: completely agree: I've had an issue with the date wheel of my seamaster and they were extremely quick to repair it and send it back to me. Plus I believe the brand to be really well managed at the moment.
Rolex: so many great things to say about it, except for a couple of problems: the fact that they don't make old parts to service vintage watches UNLESS you are approved for their restoration service which is extremely expensive and the fact that their popularity creates inconveniences like unwanted attention and waiting lists.
JLC: while I do think that they could be a little more experimental, I've always been treated well by them, they even offered me a trip to Le Sentier to visit the manufacture in June. The boutique staff has always been nice to me.
I've heard some horror stories about GS quality control and servicing, but I can't say much about them since I have never owned one of their watches.
Can't say much about TAG and AP either, except for one thing: AP's hotel (Hotel Des Horlogers) where we stayed before the JLC visit is the most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed in.
