When i see what i collected, i like modern and 50s and 60s.
This have to do i have no interest in 70s quarts watches.
Late nineties start 2000 brought very interesting watches.
I prefer the year 10 watches, because to expensive then, now far more affordable.
Many have a good state of service, complete papers, and a baroque design.
Master compressors look amazing, but need a bit decrease in price before they become very interesting.

I grew up in Kuwait in the 80s and spent my summers in the UK, Germany and Pakistan, seen the contrasts 😊 btw watching Miami Vice in 80s had a different vibe than watching reruns for sure, we were so inspired by it. Your Post reminded me of this

IMHO, 90s where there is a revival of many Swiss watch brands and advertising start to be more globalized with intro to internet.
And couple with the different watch complications that different watch brands try to out do each others. It like the pinnacle of Swiss watch making after quartz criss 2 decades earlier.
