OK, I'll bite -
I think that Omega continues to offer a high ratio of content to cost in its Co-Axial Master Chronometer watches. While Nomos has been creeping up the pricing ladder of late, I believe there's still value to be found there, providing the design language holds any appeal. I might have listed Seiko and Grand Seiko at one time, but the Presage, Prospex, and GS lines have been moving very rapidly "up-market," and while I think they still can still offer a decent price/quality proposition, I would no longer classify them as "bargains." Another non-Swiss outfit that I think may offer nice watches at good prices is Habring-2, though I haven't handled their products to gain a sense of build quality and finish.

You do mention the brands that I am also considering for a fair price/quality ratio.
I may also add Sinn and Oris that offer very good watches with a lot of character. One should also not forget the entry-level brands from the Swatch group : Tissot,Certina,Hamilton, you can also find surprising quality for the money.

Oris offers great value, especially in its 10 day manufacture caliber models. Longines may be my favorite Swatch Group brand at "entry level," just because of watches like the Hydro Conquest, the Legend Diver, the Big Eye, the Hour Angle, and the Avigatio...
I agree that the value quotient of that watch (and most Longines watches) is excellent. Price considerations aside I personally just plain like it! So much so that in spite of having many
more expensive and even far more expensive divers I think I'd like to have one! Similarly a while back I could not resist getting a Seiko PADI and a green Bulova Devil Diver. Also 41mm now seems perfect to me! Still paying on the last acquisition so maybe...
Fair points, this is a good offering by Longines and they had some more lately. For the same reason i like Tissot Powermatic Silicium escapement and 80 hrs PR well under 1K with bracelet.
