Thanks for reminding me about the La Maison books!! I've actually pre-ordered them on Amazon.com and then the release somehow got cancelled/post-poned and it went to the back of my mind! Now you remind me I should be hunting for a set of these books too!
Yes, their silk products (ties, scarves) are also beautiful! I'm sure a lot of Purists here have some of their ties! 
I too hope one day they will firmly establish their place in haute horology - much like Cartier, Harry Winston, Van Cleef and the like have done. This particular watch is not really my cup of tea, but I love their enamel dial Cape Cods... one day....
