Simple or complex? Stealth or Blatant
for want of a better term. If its the former in both instances, than the Moser P1 is it. JLC is also a much better known brand than Moser if you're ok with that. Simple and un-complex as the P1 may seem, the movement however is far from simple as you do know.
All that said, as its always been said here, get the one you prefer most (or both 
). For me, you can't go wrong with both. For me, it'll be the Moser P1. Have fun in your quest.

Wow, thanks for all the great opinions Keep them coming! It seems that there're slightly more people liking the JLC due to the dial being more interesting. Amanico did bring up a good point saying that Moser's simplicity is a two-edged sword and I agree. ...
I think your approach of building
a small but meaningful (to you) collection is the right way to go. Don't rush in to impulse buys. Take your time to look, re-look and re-look a watch before you commit. The initial WOW, marketing forces can often lead to impulse buys that you could regret...

I'd prefer a perpetual calendar... even though I do not own one so the vote goes to the Moser... But whatever decision that you make, both watches are winners! Cheers, GG
