... for your many kind comments and suggestions, and for reassuring me that I'm not obsessively mad
It's fascinating for me how each of you has a different favourite among the five watches, and for very different reasons! Personally, my favourite is the 1815, and though I love the sector dial Calatrava, like Nico I also wish they had left out the date. It would've been perfect sans date, and with manual winding, but I love its versatility for weekdays or weekends. At the same time the guilloche of the VC is bewitching, the practicality of the JLC is attractive, while the zen-like austerity of the GS promises calm... I love them all!
What's next? Um, I don't know! I've been considering a grey Lange 1 for a while (and saving up for it). Francois also suggested the VC Les Historiques Chronograph, something which hadn't appeared on my radar before, but which looks perfectly sized for me indeed ... very very nice lugs too! The journey continues, and I look forward to exchanging more ideas and learning from all of you along the way
