The benefit of the community is that we each bring different types of expertise
to the mutual appreciation of watches. Whatever we do for our day job or during those few hours during the day or night when we are not all consumed by our latest obsession we bring to our mutual hobby/passion different perspectives and appreciations for the artistic, technologic or innovative features of the watches we jointly view. The ability to review a watch from a certain perspective gives others perhaps a different appreciation.
MTF you are absolutely correct that in general medical literature is devoid of a certain flare or sense of flare or humor.
It was a pleasure reviewing this watch and doing more than rationalizing why I should buy the next watch. There is truly a function that is utilitarian for this watch.

How is the crystal attached?
If the bezel is part of the same hunk of metal as the case, I assume the crystal is pressed in through the front and glued or gasket-fit? a

Sea water resistance
Although the Rescue can be used by anyone...including sea rescue, I can't see that much call for salt-water resistance of 904 steel. Not too many clinical staff immersed in sea water for too long Regards, MTF

It seems like the easily removable rubber strap might also easily slide off the watch by accident. Is that a concern? I've heard a story of JLC Extreme World Chrono's strap opening up by accident and slipping off the owner's wrist..

I asked Anthony that and he said it did not happen. I guess they tested it well and silicon is "sticky" in it's groove. Let's see what Anthony says after more testing...... Regards, MTF
The rubber strap slipping off was not something I worried about
when I wore this watch and tested it. The friction between the strap and the case lugs holding the strap is great enough that I don't think the strap would slide off even if tugged at. Cheers, Anthony
