To be honest, i never knew they allowed or approved of..
..Radium use for luminosity. I thought its only Superluminova and Tritium, thus the "L"s and the "T"s below our watch dials. Is it true that it takes longer time for Luminova to be transformed to having the patinas as opposed to Radiuma and Tritium which have a shorter life span. I gues for vintage or older watches, Radium does being used. Tyler - Did you go mountain biking wearing your MIH watch thats why u had it scrapped a little? Hope your wrist(s) recovers. Take care.

From my point of view the danger associated with the handling of watches with radium dials is heavily underestimated by laymen. Many watch makers refuse servicing or repairing these watches in our days because it requires a vacuum decontamination chamber ...
