As I was searching for the Weems, I saw that Longines has a current version that it is selling on its website.
It is similarly designed, but I didn’t realize it is a 47.5mm watch! It does make sense as a pilot watch, but I never saw one on the wrist.

I thought “made especially” was correct,
but English isn’t my mother tongue, nor is it the “mother tongue” of Patek Philippe! The only known details concerning the VC are to be found on Antiquorum’s page: catalog.antiquorum.swiss . Best, Emmanuel
