Sadly, some models have the hour window at 12 o'clock with the minutes hand overlapping the window exactly when the hour jumps... Two ways to solve this problem: either the minutes hand is shortened (like in Patek's 5275P, either the hour window isn't pla... 

Having a pomme hour hand, like Omega, so that the hour window shows even when the minute hand is over it 😊👍🏻 Here a picture from MZHammer and the associated post: www.watchprosite.com ...

but regret that the minutes hand is partly overlapping the hour window exactly when the hour jumps. On the 5275P the minutes hand has been shortened, presumably to solve this problem (but I might be wrong).

but I love the wearability of the 3969 and it screams 'disceet elegance'.

Even the openwork AP appeals to me more than openwork watches usually do (I’m not fond of them in general).

many other AP openworked pieces: it's because I like the solid white minutes-seconds-hour structure. And the movement is finished to such a high degree!

but this Jules Audemars looks fantastic.

The skeletonized Jules Audemars is my cup of tea, what spectacular craftsmanship.

I don't usually warm up to openworked watches, but this one is so good-looking!

but AP's 26356 1 25723 are also a minute repeaters with jumping hour. And I would say that other models, like both VC or Patek's 5275 have a lot to offer (retrograde minutes for the Saltarello or Chiming hour for the 5275, for example).
