Haters job is to hate. From where I sit I’ve always loved Hublot. I’ve been saying it since 2011. Can’t lie, bought my first Hublot because of the Jay Z song Otis haha.
But as someone who’s owned everything over the last 18 years of collecting from Newman Daytonas, Patek 5970’s, 5004’s, a 3974… to Richard Mille and AP to many many indies from the usual suspects I can’t help but love Hublot. The internet seems to hate them but I’ve always said the unico is one of the best movements and the Meca 10 has always sung to me - though it was always a bit big for my liking. I had a 45mm one briefly in 2016 but was just too big. I truly believe Hublot customer service is amazing. They’ve hosted me at many fights in Vegas and Motorsports events etc. Their after sales support is better than HSWA, AP Clearwater, and Lange. Though those are good Hublot is better.
The hate against their eta movements in the past and such never made sense as we all know AP used f. Piguet models and Richard Mille uses vaucher movements in the 35, 55, and their split seconds etc. Anywho. It’s also been strange that folks like JCB but don’t like Hublot… anywho. This new meca 10 found its way into my collection and it’s not going anywhere. I prefer it lately over my RM 35-01 and RM 35-02’s and it’s been a hell of a lot more accurate and reliable than my 26-330 movement pateks and my AP 43mm offshore… horrible movements from AP lately. Accuracy and problems.

The new Meca is simply stunning
Light, comfortable, with the winding system that’s extremely smooth. Hublot is mostly unknown by the collectors, plenty of choices and no need to provide a pedigree of loyalty (aka purchases) to get what you like. ...

Hublot has some great watches and sad they go overlooked by so many go straight for the usual offshores or even GP, Chopard etc.

Beings a watch nut means having no borders or bias, we buy what WE like for our pleasure and passion, we don’t seek for approval. I like many Hublot, my only limit is my wallet 😅

I could not be more pleased with my Hublot experiences.
If I could go back in time, I wish I never sold my platinum matt big bang. Currently, I own the 42mm Ice Bang LE. The watch is a near perfect timekeeper. It seems to never gain nor lose a second. So comfortable, so reliable, and the cosmetics are perfect....
