Hublot

Thanks!

I just love it. I was talking to a friend - I love my 35-01 from Richard Mille but let’s be very objective:
The only two advantages the RM has (resale value aside) is it’s a little lighter. This Hublot with strap is 79grams on my scale and the RM with strap is about 20 grams lighter. Can’t really tell if I’m honest. And secondly the RM can withstand massive g shock/force.
But here’s my rub. I paid $130k for my RM (sure money is safe and I’d make profit if I sold. Which I won’t for the time). But with that - I get NO power reserve indicator. And the movement is a basic vaucher movement RM decorates. And the vaucher is free sprung.
The Meca 10 - is actually easy to read. Has a MASSIVE power reserve while being more comfy and smaller than the RM. straps around $800-3k and it has usable lume and get this… it’s in house from the ground up movement that’s not shared with any other brands…. I just find the hate for Hublot tends to come from extremely ignorant people. And if you buy a watch because you’re worried about resale value or flipping it perhaps this hobby isn’t for you.
