Very true - but we had to change the sequence

First of all, thanks to everyone for the heartwarming praise ! The whole team at MB&F has put incredible efforts and passion to create this new addition to the family. And by the way, even if I say so, it is truly very easy to wear ! (wrist shots will follow our first dinner with collectors I would think)
Marc is right: we had intended initially to alternate fully integrated movement and modular movement. What was initially supposed to be HM3 bears a completely new and very amazing integrated movement and we quickly realized in its early stages of development that it would take much more time than anticipated: So 18 months ago we switched priority with what was then HM4. The HM3 as you see it today was born one year earlier than anticipated and the following piece will have a fully integrated movement/engine.

Am I so glad to be among the very first customers!!!
It took me only minutes (seconds) to decide to purchase this when I saw it!!!! A grail watch. From my perspective, at these unusual times of financial crisis, very few watches will be worth the effort to buy. THIS is one of them...for me.

I forgot where i read it but dont people wear a watch on the left hand because its the right hand to wear it on? they have right handed watches for a reason i would think? so is the sidewinder a right handed watch?
It is heavy, solid, and has a sense of mass on the wirst.

For those who missed or even own the Opus V...this is the inspirational opposite. In many ways, it is the apogee of any collection, possibly the sum of a single series.

i prefer the starcruiser, it just seems more aesthetically pleasing to me, but thats just me. the only 'criticism' if its possible to criticise something this good, is that on the starcruiser the date triangle would have been more symmetrical at the 12 oc...

Looks like a basic automatic movement (regulated at that) with extra cogs to that the movement is upside down, but the display is moved to the side. And yes, there the Urwerk approach (Opus V) is noted. Sure, looks like something Hans Solo would wear, and...
I agree it is not groundbreaking technically
It's a Girard Perregaux cal. 3100 with a cleverly designed module. But the look is different. Perhaps it is a sad reflection of the market given that a GP movement is so exciting. - SJX
I thought that MB&F were going to alternate...
...pieces with in house movements (HM1) with pieces developed on the base of an outside movement (HM2). Is that correct? (and is what I say about HM1 and HM2 correct?). Marc.

it seems too much kinetic sculpture. Besides the price, I doubt it would fit well on a 6" wrist.
