In my book, the Lang and Heyne Georg is an immensely elegant Gentleman ‘s watch with outstanding watchmaking substance. Classical for sure, but with just the right whimsical elements to make it a timepiece to be discovered and appreciated by connoisseurs....  

Many years ago, I was introduced to this brand by PURISTSPRO but never had a chance to see the watches because I resided in Asia. Then, I saw them for the first time in Baselworld. In fact, I could not get into their little booth because a bunch of PIAGET...

The shining bridges , the blue screws and hands, sandblasted plates; the finishing level is absolutely astoundingly, as you would expect by a german brand (even Nomos provides good quality). The design has its unique touch, classic but not outdated.

Variation of Georg or totally new watch?

In my eyes this is the rectangular watch to have...despite my love of the 5100 and 5200 Pateks. Question to the more knowledgeable WIS here: How would this stack up in terms of finish and craft vs a KV, Roger Smith or FPJ? I am looking to consolidate my c... 

Voutilainen and RW Smith are at a different level altogether in terms of finishing, both on the dial and the movement. FP Journe is less exclusive than Lang & Heyne and I would rate Lang & Heyne at least on par if not better than FP Journe. What I persona...
