An Interesting GF Signature 1 at Phillips

This watch is interesting because it has the dial of one of the stainless pieces yet is cased in platinum. While there are a number of color variations / custom requests in the 66 watches across stainless, rose gold, white gold, and platinum models a red tick at the 11 minute counter was specifically used to denote stainless steel watches.
This one clearly has a red tick at the 11 and this gold movement grey time dial white seconds dial combo was a core colorway for the stainless watches. A franken GF? Probably not, the 9/11 numbering on the dial matches the 9/11 numbering on the case and the pin buckle is platinum as well so it's numbers matching and there's not exactly a lot of these out there to play parts roulette with. My only question then is it #9 of 11 stainless models with this dial or is it #9 of 11 platinum cased watches? Maybe it is a unique stainless watch that was delivered in platinum or a unique platinum watch that received a dial reserved for the steel watches. Whatever the case, this seems like an extra unique S1 for anyone that is in the market, really nice piece and I like the extra heft and polished interior of the platinum case.
