I describe this watch to a highly successful female friend and she instantly becomes inspired by the story. You have a very beautiful pure watch that none can exceed. With this piece, one can start all over a collection or just end here. After re-knowing ... 

You know you are an important character in my story of this watch. When I ordered the Simplicity, I thought once I would have it, I would end here. Since then I have acquired quite a few other watches. Now I really don't know what's next. Can't wait to se... 

We can only hope that M. Dufour will be able to find someone to whom he can pass on his skills- it would be a tragedy if the completion of his next series (if there is one!) were to be overtaken by time. It's lovely to see you wearing your Simplicity out ...

I wish I was SteveG but I am not, so I don't even try macro shots of this watch. I have seen enough of them. I don't remember how many times I went to Steve's watch launchpad without knowing how much time had passed, and the most of such incidents were on...

Glad you still remember that Rolex, as you have seen and handled way too many nice watches. This Rolex is another special watch to me. In winter, I wear it with the same black jacket as I am wearing the Simplicity....

All versions of Simplicity are great. I haven't seen 34mm yet and have wondered how it looks like. It must be very nice too,and perhaps even purer in a certain sense. I also very much like the RG with lacquer dial, very classic. In my mind a 37mm PT or WG... 

Wear it in the best of healthy! The Simplicity is still a beauty to my eyes. When I had the chance to order one, I opted for the Series 2. It was a tough tough choice! How about a full independant family shot? Be well! asg

It is always a big challenge for me to take a family shots of my watches. I'll try again later. For now, here are some individual pictures. (Well, I don't really regard Journe as an independent any more, but he is still with AHCI and my admiration for him...  

Seems like we do share some commonality in taste.

What a wonderful Christmas present, surely nothing else could top it? For me it would be my ultimate grail watch. If I was ever fortunate to own one, it would virtually never leave my wrist. Enjoy your Christmas.

To me it is the ultimate simple watch in the modern time, both technically and philosophically. I consider myself very fortunate to be able to own such a great piece of work.

to put Anniversary Langematik side by side with the Simplicity. They make an interesting duo. Both are in "white color" metal with "white color" dial. Both have traditional small second hand. Both are 37mm which is the perfect size to me. One is hand wind...
