After acquiring a few watches, I learned from my personal experience that, while the joy and satisfaction of eventually owning a desired watch and having it on wrist is tremendous, the research and hunting waiting process is equally enjoyable. Apparently the waiting is also part of it.
The creation of such a timepiece simply takes a lot of time and labor, and as watch collectors we all appreciate that. Even if Mr. Dufour had more assistants, each watch would still get his personal attention and involvement. I'm happy that as a reward for the long waiting, my watch probably got more magic touch from the master.
