First skiing of the season with the MAD 1 Green ⏱️❄️🎿
Took our daughter to the local ski resort yesterday morning to initiate the skiing season. Snow was thin on the ground - enough to cover a couple of slopes but none extra for the surrounding landscape 🤷🏻♂️ I guess the normal for lower ski resorts in Central Europe nowadays…
But the slopes were relatively empty and the snow was good, given that it was artificial. Also broke in a new pair of skis. A bit of product patriotism here 😉
And found a beverage that fit the watch and the wearer (looks more like me that I would like to admit 😂🤦🏻♂️). The MAD 1 green with a more supple white and green strap to fit the day ❄️

It was a great day, and skiing has the element of alone time with my daughter (our son refuses to ski), so there’s that, too!
Every time we are discussing trying to motivate her brother to start she tries finding arguments…
Not to do it. She enjoys her time with me alone, without the little brother 😂 Doesn’t get a lot of that 🤷🏻♂️

The green along the periphery matches the green on your skis and Santa's cap, and probably the patches of grass showing through the thin snow !

Actually the good thing was the slope did not have any patches of grass or dirt, so skiing was fine. But everything else still looked like autumn, with browns and greens all around 🤷🏻♂️
Possibly not made for that purpose…
But I felt the white strap warranted a trial on the snow ⛄️
Ski conditions fairly abysmal in Colorado as well
Heading there with the family for a few days next week. We don’t expect great skiing, but can’t cancel as the hotel is already paid for! ...
