Half Year Update from Volker!
Hi All,
Sorry this is not an update to tell you that I have received my watch. I sent an email to Volker and received a reply from Micahel who is Volker's brother. Michael has taken over the communication. He mentioned that:
"he is making good progress but to be honest it is taking longer than expected.......... Volker had to rebuild the bridges and is int he final stages of doing this. Assembly of watches will follow."
He thanked me for my patience. (Alex any comments here? hhahahahahaaa!!!) 
I think only those who ordered the watch can really undertand what patience means!

After all, straps must be made! If I recall properly, the straps are also supposed to be lined in natural rubber, so there's the rubber tree plantation to be cultivated as well. All joking aside, these watches are going to make for the greatest watch dinn...

Wanted to be a bit circumspect

that this watch will be the most personal watch ever produced. I can't imagine another maker putting that much efforts, thoughts, energy and love into his products, even facing the danger of alienating some clients. I am really looking forward to this fin...

Totally agree with you on that one. I think Volker could possibly make more money writing a book about his experiences with some photos of the process!

Life would be meaningless without hope.
As long as Volker is still alive and he has not abandoned the project, there is still hope. Perhaps, Volker will give a big surprise to the owners upon delivery. Happy waiting! Regards Ling
