I have an open role at WT this year
Last night and most of today, I was roving on the floor just meeting folks. This morning, I launched the new Dream Watch 5 Tourbillon on my YouTube channel, so I made myself available to answer questions about that. I decided to spend some time explaining DB while flying the flag at the WB booth for a few minutes. I'll be on tomorrow's "steel watch" discussion panel if anyone is around and wants to say hi.
I'm fortunate that my company doesn't make any specific demands regarding where I spend my time during these shows. Coming from the aftermarket with Watch-u-Want and later WatchBox, I would have killed to be at the De Bethune booth in years past. Now the kind of brands I couldn't even approach are part of my world. Big changes for the best...

That's definitely how I saw it.
Being able to just walk up to the DB display and start sharing watches is what I'd call a "good day at the office." The military and finance weren't nearly this much fun. Best, Tim

Last time I was at WT it was another dealer, who also had (has) an ownership stake in DB selling their watches.

I see. You had said DB was "never" quite independent so broadly referring I assumed to pre and post WB acquisition.
Pre WB acquisition DB had investment from external parties like other indys.
