These watches are gorgeous, but I feel a lot of these independent watchmakers are strictly focusing on movement finishing, at the cost of technical innovation or even everyday wearability.
Although beautiful finishing is, well, beautiful and mesmerizing, the finishing on watches from Dufour, Brette, and Rexhepi (which I consider to be among the very best) can only truly be appreciated under a loupe, and how often would one do that once the novelty wears off?
