Yes, you are correct, I forgot about Toulouse clock, I have a photo of it somewhere, if you would like it posted let me know and I will find it.

I had heard unconfirmed rumors that the Breguet belonging to The Queen had running problems at one time, my understanding is that it is now running fine,
I have been to the Patek museum 3 times in the hope of seeing their Double pendulum clock, each time I arrived the museum was
'closed for exceptional cirmcumstances" so I still haven't seen it or any other double pendulum clock for that matter, my entire information base is sourced
from the few photo's in The Art of Breguet by George Daniels.

I have had no running problems even though the walls in my place are not very stable, to achieve Resonance and run successfully the pendulums need to
be close to the same rate at the beginning.
I designed a completely different suspension to the large plate used by Breguet.  Breguet used a large  brass plate upon which the pendulums and the
movements are mounted, this plate which is not rigidly mounted to the case transmits energy from one pendulum to the other via the flexing of the entire plate thus
permitting resonance to take place.
There is much loss of energy due to the damping effect of the large plate.

The suspension I designed is a heavy support holding the two suspensions fitted into a common frame and set in gimbals, this "loose suspension" is
exactly the opposite of what is usually demanded for a high precision regulator where the most rigid and stable suspension support is a fundamental requirement.

This is the suspension I have created.
