When I saw the dial, I was disappointed and was actually glad that the order list was full when I tried placing an order. I like simple legible dials even though I have little doubt Simon's work is beyond reproach.
Interesting dial
Is that etched brass? Without the etching, the dial would be a winner. Right now I find it a bit busy and of course, if you are concerned with legibility this is not your watch.

This watch loses its appeal to me the longer I look at it
At first, I was smitten, and came very close to ordering one of the first watches when I had the opportunity to do so. The longer I looked at it, the less appealing it became.
I like EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS!
I even like the dial! That dial is just art! And I adore the scalloped steel gears on the back. Wonderful! So interesting and what a beautiful watch!
