It’s probably the third or fourth time I’ve looked at it!l I loved how they want the extra mile to also shape the case to improve how it hugs the wrist: It’s on the edge of being too big; but I can make exceptions in this case!😉 ...

the Goerg??? Especially if a rectangle would be new to you. And it is so nice to look at. I like it slightly over the Friedrich III. But that dial on the Friedrich III (It looks like sillver friction?? ) and cathedral hands are so tempting. Maybe get both... 

Perhaps, both can make it one if these days!🤞

The Georg is thick and visually looks large. I opted for the cathedral hands on the F-III as the pike hands make the watch too modern ...

The movement architecture is hypnotic. Once you look it's hard to turn the watch back around😊 But everything about it is beautiful. Tried one on at Cellini here in NYC.

I’d get the Georg certainly. I have the Friedrich III in rose gold with cathedral hands and it is beautiful there is no denying that but Georg, its sculpted and shaped case, the unbelievable caliber, it is just something else. Heck I’m thinking of buying ... 

I just looked at that caliber and fell in love with watchmaking. I just moved to a new city, thanks to your post I just checked and realized there is an AD here who sells L&H, will go and see if they have a Georg.

Having championed Marco’s work since 2003 in the US, I’m very familiar with his watches and him. Personally have owned a Johann initially, as the FIII wasn’t yet created when I got that piece. Since then, in 2017 when he showed the Georg in Baselworld, I ...
