The same questions have crossed my mind

I have always been told not to wind my watch while wearing it, so your question about ease of use, and concerns about damage to the pinions when using the chrono functions while the watch is on your wrist have similarly crossed my mind.  I trust the Habrings have assessed this matter thoroughly, as the COS is key to that particular model.  I think Don C. has actually used the COS' chrono functions, so maybe he can weigh-in.

The new Sauterelle is certainly a looker!  I agree that the movement on it is very attractive.  However, I have to say, that I really like the clean, mechanical look of the Habring's jump seconds.  The porthole to view the jump seconds in action is fun...sort of like the small window in the door of a speakeasy!  smile

Cheers,

Daos
