IWC is losing the essence of what made it successful. Especially the Fliegeruhr/pilot line is becoming more and more a joke. This line has become the caricature of a real tool watch.... Sad but I think it sells even better than before ...

these colored versions are far from what we can expect in this line. I agree with you about this remark. Fx

Besides of the watches (the simple Inge is very attractive), I like the architectural style that IWC is using on all boutiques. Even here, yes we also have a boutique is SP/Brazil, the style is the same. Very cool. I'm avoiding a visit to the boutique her... 

I'm sure that the Sao Paulo boutique is much larger than the Rome one... about the watches yes you are right so if large diameters don't speak to you, it will be a problem here. The 40mm Ingenieur is maybe now the smallest IWC watch with the Portofino Aut... 

Based on your pics, is not bigger than the one in Rome. The good news is that the sales persons knows A LOT about the brand and, better, they are great to negotiate prices, that are on pair with the international ones (rare here). Cheers, Nilo

For me, my fav Ingenieur remains the most simple one... and yes, the WG Portuguese with blue dial is stunning. What a gorgeous watch! Fx
