I had the RG perp cal chrono model (from 1999 if I remember correctly). Enjoyed wearing it but it made way for something more rare. It had charm for sure.
Ingenious module devised by Mr. Klaus.
It is disconcerting now to see the newly revised 2017 Da Vinci models. IWC has set their MSRP very high IMO and you could spend less on the exact preowned Platinum Perpetual Rattrapante in your picture & get arguably "more" of a watch than the 2017 version. I know it is not apples-to-apples since the 2017 model is only a regular chronograph function and not split. Nonetheless is there any wonder why the conglomerates like Richemont have had weakness? Do they not understand the idea of comparison shopping against a recent model?
