The rubber fissures, then crumbles.
I can't remember if I had the factory replace the rubber once or not. I've had similar issues with some rubber straps, but those are more easily replaced.
Those of you wearing bronze must feel like captain Nemo!
I like bronze as a nautical material (bells, some ship accessories...) but not for my wrist. Same for ceramic, which I do not consider a good material for watches
