She’s up in years and was looking to divest some funds by buying a watch she could leave to her daughter. That meant both she and her daughter needed to agree. The criteria was that it needed to be smaller and have precious stones on either the dial or bezel. She considered Rolex but decided that the DJ was too bulky. We consulted over the course of two years and I believed she finally settled on a Cartier 28mm Ballon Bleu. So I was surprised when she came to dinner last evening wearing this JLC. I think she chose well.
