i don't wear the glasshuttes for that reason. i don't think they'd weather a crash too well. even the sports evo... isn't there some senior guy with a lange who wears his datograph when he goes riding? i remember some anecdote that he had crashed once and... 

and watch hound, I wouldn't wear a "nice" watch on the trail. I used to ride with my Breitling Navitimer Premier all the time, but after 14 years, the law of averages caught up with the watch. I did a slow motion endo (over the bars) onto a sharp pile of ... 

i bet you probably do more rough stuff than i do. for me, even in and around kinshasa, where i live, i don't have to do much that mountain bikers consider "technical." i could be runover by a car, and i could flip through a pothole, but overall, the chall...
