i don't wear the glasshuttes for that reason. i don't think they'd weather a crash too well. even the sports evo...
isn't there some senior guy with a lange who wears his datograph when he goes riding? i remember some anecdote that he had crashed once and had to have the hands reattached. now that's nerves of steel or platinum. but maybe it helps if you're with the company.
returning to the jlc, one of our forum lurkers told me several months back that he goes riding with his rossi and reports no problems. so we'll see. at the end of the day, the watch is so cool, i have a tough time not wearing it.
