but the subdial loss its former glory. I mush prefer the half circle display on the AMVOX II and this new dial seem a tad busier than it should to call it balance. I wasn't a fun of the original AMVOX II but I can see if there is an AMVOX 8 (hopefully not...

I'm not too excited by the amvox 7. Adding a power reserve in a amvox 2 design feels like a minor tweak. No WOW factor. I don't want to compare this to the ROO but somehow the amvox 7 feels like that kinda concept. A bit harsh but this comes from a jlc lo...

It's nice to see a new iteration of this iconic chronograph. I just wish it had the 'Polaris' minute hand of the Amvox I and II. (same goes for the'68 TTP as far as I am concerned, the other shame with that watch is the lack of lume on most of them) regar... 

but is much too large for my taste and wrist. I also wonder sometimes if non-Aston Marin owners ever buy AMVOX watches, even ones that do not unlock the car.

it's a watch I really have to see in the metal to make my opinion. Amvoxes are usually very "sport" looking and need to see the materials' light to judge it fairly. From the first sight, it seems very nice. I also noticed the crown's notches are very deep...

As I was having another look on the pictures I noticed that the Aston emblem was hidden when the PR was full (all red) and that it appeared when it <100%. Am I wrong? It could be interesting to know how it works maybe we'll have detailed info later on ... 

which shows another emblem (no Aston Martin written underneath). On the pictures the emblem is underlined with the name. Maybe proto modifications.

amanico, Thanks for the chronological review. Amvox SEVEN? Wow, it seems like yesterday it was only Amvox 2 or 1. We cannot see Amvox 1 as the photo disappeared. Keeping the discussion to the Amvox 7, I tried to figure out how to read the diffeent functio... 

At 3 o clock, you have a 30 minutes subdial. The Red Triangle is the " hand ", in fact a repere. The subdial is in fact a disc. Same for the 12 hours " subdial " at 9 o clock. In fact I should have written " counter instead of subdial. ;) Best, Melvyn! Ni... 

the new design is the best ever for this series, I love it! And I have never even liked the previous models, except 'kinda'. I love the way this brings some of the EL2 elements in! I still don't like the Aston logo on the dial or frankly, the association ... 

Nobody is wrong, here. ;) About the date, I think it doess less break the balance of the dial where it is located on this new Amvox, but I can't help thinking that it would be even better without... Here again, it is a matter of preference... Thanks for y... 

Many nice variants. Probably the DBS Racing. But I think I could pick a few that I would choose over this 7, at least at first glance. Interesting note about the Spanish Boutique piece not being produced.

I am not a fan of the power reserve, but I have to admit that for once, this one is well thought, with this racing " clin d'oeil ". Thanks for sharing your thoughts, my friend. Best, Nicolas

I like bi-direction red band for power reserve. It's look better than the one in Extreme Lab. But the dial is too fuzzy and not easy for reading.

The design has been streamlined and colors are better than in previous models.
